june 12: holy trinity picnic

From the Spiritual Life and Service & Advocacy Committees:

June 12th is Trinity Sunday in the Liturgical Calendar and at Holy Trinity, it’s the final Sunday of the full Parish Choir before their summer recess. Please join us for Mass that morning at 11:00am and a special event to follow: an informal picnic gathering in Central Park across the street! This is not a potluck, so bring whatever kind of picnic you'd like to enjoy. That said, if you'd like to share among others, that's always welcome!

PLUS A SERVICE ACTIVITY: In “packing” for the picnic, we encourage you to make (or purchase) a second sandwich or sack lunch to offer to someone in need en route to the church, or in the park, or on the way home. By sharing a meal in this way, you're actually taking part in the efforts of the Homeless Ministry here at Holy Trinity. Thank you!

Please remember to dress comfortably and casually – and bring to church a blanket or sheet to sit on if a grassy seat doesn’t suit you. (If you need a chair, please let Tim Cage or Damon Gray know.)

This bit of summer service, fun and fellowship is brought to you by the Spiritual Life and Service & Advocacy Committees. See you June 12!

june 18: moral march on washington

Members of Holy Trinity are going to the Poor People's And Low-Wage Workers Assembly and Moral March On Washington. in Washington  DC, on June 18, 2022. We will come together after months of mobilizing and organizing for this declaration by poor and low-wealth people and our moral allies to say that this system is killing all of us and we can’t, we won’t, we refuse to be silent anymore.

On Saturday, June 18 we will be departing early in the morning by bus from Penn Station, and we will be returning that same night.

Reserve your seat here:

We encourage all who are able to donate to cover the cost of their seat ($75), but thanks to generous contributions, we are able to subsidize the cost of bus seats and food for those who need it. Do not let a lack of funds keep you from attending - we need YOU to #MeetUsInDC on June 18! Meals will be provided. Proof of vaccination and masks will be required.
